Cortical Visual impairment in the broadest sense is the impairment of vision due to problems in the vision center of the brain.In this the brain cant see what the eyes see. It is problems in interpretation of the visual scene. It is commonly seen in children with developmental problems like Autism, Cerebral Palsy mental retardation and in children with neurological problems. At perceptions vision center we carry out detailed examination of Functional and cognitive vision and determine treatment on basis of the problems.
