What is Vision therapy?

Vision therapy is a doctor supervised, nonsurgical and customized programmes for visual activities designed to correct certain vision problems and to improve visual skills. It is a physical therapy for visual system including the eyes and parts of the brain that control vision.

Individuals suffering from squint eyes, amblyopia, eyestrain, focusing issues, children with developmental disorders like autism, cerebral palsy, children with problems in school including learning related visual disorders, patients who have vision problems due to stroke, patients with computer vision syndrome.

Vision therapy includes the use of lenses, prisms ,filters, stereograms and computer assisted visual activities.
